Here Comes the Paint

Although I have been at times frustrated by the lack of progress with our basement development, today we turned another corner. We are now on to painting! Basically, they do the priming & base coat and then the carpet, tile & finishing stuff goes on and then the painters are back for the final top coat. I also have an appointment this week to pick out carpet, tile for the bathroom floor & shower and tile for the fireplace. Thank goodness I already have an idea of what we would like - Alan is out of town until Sunday afternoon so I guess it'll be a surprise for him!!
